Thanks to their state-of-the-art equipment, our dental offices are ready to perform even the most complicated procedures. To just take one example, we can perform a perfect overview of the dental procedure, as we are equipped with an intraoral camera that transmits the image from the oral cavity to the screen, directly in front of the patient's eyes.
Microscope Zeiss OPMI Pico
This state-of-the-art microscope enables multiple magnifications, which brings treatment options to a new level. The greatest benefit is for endodontic and reendodontic treatment, which allows us to deal with the most complicated situations, such as branching of root canals or removal of old root fillings. Treatments using a microscope are always better and more durable; in some cases microscopes allow us to save teeth which otherwise would have to be removed. It is also used in other more demanding procedures.
Digital Panoramic X-ray - Orthoralix 9200 - Gendex
A digital panoramic image of both the jaw, dentition, jaw joints, and jaw and nasal cavities is taken within 15 seconds, at a minor radiation dose.
Digital Intraoral X-ray - Expert DC Gendex
Instead of conventional X-ray sensitive film, a special sensor is used to convert the captured radiation into digital form. As a result, the image is instantly displayed on the computer monitor, eliminating the need to process the film; the necessary information is available without delay. For more accurate readings, images on your computer can be freely zoomed, scaled, colorized, viewed under a magnifying glass, just to list a few examples. The huge benefit of radiovisiography for patients is that, due to the high sensitivity of the sensors, it is possible to reduce radiation doses exposed onto the patient up to a tenth in comparison to exposures taken on sensitive films.
Machine endodontics - Silver Reciproc - VDW
Endodontics includes treatment of the root canals taking place inside the tooth. The dental pulp, which is removed in the case of dental inflammations, is created in these channels, creating space. It must be treated, expanded, cleaned and then filled to allow the tooth to continue to work. Machine treatment of root canals offers the possibility of better cleaning, expansion and thus simplification of a very complicated root system, thus preparing ideal conditions for filling the root canals.
Apexlocator - Raypex 5 - VDW
This device is used in endodontic treatment. It is designed to accurately measure the length of the root canals and to locate the so-called foramen apicale, which is a narrow opening at the tip of the dental root through which it passes from the surrounding bone to the cavity inside the tooth (dental pulp); its role is in nourishing blood vessels and nerves. For long-term success of endodontic treatment, it is crucial to treat and fill the root canal exactly to this constriction. The apexlocator works by comparing tissue resistance between two electrodes. A small metal hook is placed by the patient's side and serves as a single electrode. The second electrode is connected to the tool by which the tooth root is treated. Measurement with this device is absolutely painless.
Intraoral camera - Gendex
This device allows the patient to see hard-to-reach and visible spots in the nouth on the monitor; you see what the doctor sees. The dentist can therefore clearly explain the current problems and treatment.
This is placed directly in front of the patient’s eyes. The patient can follow the treatment of the dentist by means of an intraoral camera on the monitor, and you can ask any questions about the surgery being performed.
This device is used to treat soft tissues, for example gums or mucosal algae. The device works with high-frequency electric current and can be used for coagulation or for incision. The advantage of the electric current cut is significantly lower postoperative pain than using classical surgical instruments (scalpel), and results in faster healing. The treated tissue does not bleed during or after the cut, which makes it possible to perform procedures in a single session which, when using conventional cutting tools, would require two appoinments with several days space to heal the soft tissue.
CapMix - 3M Espe
A mixer for amalgam, glass ionomer cement and other capsule materials.
Pentamix 3 - 3M Espe
A fast automatic mixing device that ensures high quality mixing of impression materials and the highest performance. The materials are free of air bubbles, which could adversely affect the accuracy of the impression.
The combined dental hygiene device combines ultrasound and sandblasting in one device. The ultrasonic generator features a wide range of power settings and, with special tips, enables efficient and at the same time gentle tartar removal. The same device can then be used for sandblasting (air flow), which removes pigments deposited from coffee, tea or smoking from the surface of the teeth, and thus returns the teeth to their natural white color.
KaVo Primus Cental Chair
This modern chair has a wide range of positioning options and thus provides the patient with greater comfort even during long-term treatment. Most procedures are performed lying down as standard, which is more comfortable for both the patient and the doctor. A good overview and access to your teeth allows you to perform a quality and durable treatment.
