Dental composite (composite resin)

a material used to make long-lasting and very aesthetic white fillings. Today it is the most common material for fillings in most situations. It ensures excellent fitting of the filling and it adheres well to the tooth, thus strengthening the tooth's structure. When exposed to light of a certain blue wavelength, it polymerizes and hardens into a solid filling. During the treatment, many strict rules have to be followed.
