Cancellation policy & fees

The development of dentistry has brought new treatment procedures and materials with increasing health and aesthetic demands. Emphasis is placed on gentle and pain free treatment, as well as on the long-term durability of the submitted work. Closely related to this is the time requirement of the given performances.

We guarantee hi-tech equipment, professional service, and approach, modern procedures, we standardly treat under anesthesia. Our doctors and hygienists will have enough time for you so that everything is done with due care. 

In the anamnestic questionnaire, you were informed to properly and timely pay for the treatment and services provided by COOL LOOK s.r.o. (hereinafter only treatment) in accordance with the Price List and Cancellation Fees policy issued by COOL LOOK s.r.o.

The client is obliged to arrive in a timely manner before his/her appointment (hereinafter referred to as the reservation) at the agreed place of treatment. 

In case of late cancellation of a replacement appointment by the client (i.e. less than 48 hours before the start of the reservation), or if the appointment is missed by the client or  the appointment is cancelled by the doctor/dental hygienist due to late arrival, the client is obligated to pay a cancellation fee depending on the length of the planned time of the treatment provided, and it is as stated:
CZK 2.500/hour in the case of a dentist appointment,
CZK 1.000/hour in the case of an appointment with a dental hygienist. 
Explanation:
2days/48 hours prior to the scheduled date, the client will receive a Text Message notification about the approaching treatment date. He/She will have the ability to either confirm or decline the scheduled appointment by replying to this message. He/She will have, as well, the ability to cancel his/her appointment on time in the 48-hour window.

Confirmation of cancellation must be confirmed by the doctor’s office, otherwise is it considered invalid. 

Just as a dentist or a dental hygienist can suddenly fall ill, we understand that a client can also become ill. For this reason, the client can miss one scheduled appointment reservation without any penalty. 

Late arrival by 10 minutes or more can lead to the cancellation of the treatment reservation date and the charging of a cancellation fee. Each case is individually assessed by the doctor/dental hygienist. 

If the client does not show up for an alternative treatment appointment or cancels a 2 or more-hour appointment late, he or she is required to pay a deposit of up to 100% of the treatment before he or she is offered and booked another appointment. 
Explanation:
All dates are reserved for a specific client, it is not possible to treat anyone else in the time slot. A missed or late canceled appointment is therefore not only a loss of time for the surgery but as well loss of income for the dentist/dental hygienist.

In case of three late cancellations by the client or three missed appointments by the client, as well as three cancellations by the doctor/dental hygienist due to late arrival, the client may be excluded from any further provided-health care.

Most treatments cannot be accelerated or shortened. Each treatment is different and requires an individual approach. For the treatment to be carried out with the utmost care according to the best knowledge and conscience, it is necessary for the client to arrive for the treatment on time or with a short notice. The timely arrival of the client for the procedure is also necessary so that clients who are booked subsequently do not have to wait.
